Kara Sims is an upcoming musical theatre performer, recently graduating from Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance with a Diploma in Music Theatre. She has also trained at the Conservatorium of Music (Melbourne) in classical voice. Before embarking on full-time training, Kara had the opportunity to perform dream roles such as Millie Dillmount in “Thoroughly Modern Millie” (KSC) , Elphaba in “Wicked” (SSA) and Janet van de Graaff in”The Drowsy Chaperone” (UMMTA) - as well as originating the role of Billie in “A Sharp Intake of Breath’, which premiered at the Melbourne Fringe Festival in 2018. Kara has also won Youth Lyrebird Awards for “Best Actress in a Musical” and “Best Supporting Actress in a Musical” in 2017, and 2016 respectively.
Katie Weston is a singer, actor, musician, composer, music director and teacher. Weston is a two- time award winning Lead Actress for the Music Theatre Guild of Victoria, having worked with the Melbourne Theatre Company (MTC) and starring as Cathy in “The Last 5 Years” (2017) . Most recently, she fronted her powerhouse band with the mesmerising “Uninvited: The Songs of Alanis Morissette” (2019) at Chapel Off Chapel. Weston is also an acclaimed musical theatre composer, having released two original musicals: “Sugartown” (2015) and the widely successful “Falling Forward” (2019). She is currently composing an exciting new musical collaboration project to
be announced later in 2021. Katie’s other notable theatre credits include: “Vivid White” Principal Swing (MTC), “Jesus Christ Superstar” Mary Magdalene (CLOC), “Chicago” Roxie Hart (WMTC), and “RENT”Maureen (Whitehorse).
Conor is a driven and passionate musical theatre performer from the Gold Coast, Australia. In 2019, he graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University with a bachelor of Musical Theatre. During this time, he played the roles of Marius in “Les Misérables”, Eddie Birdlace in “Dogfight”, Jigger Craigin in “Carousel” and as a featured dancer in “West Side Story”. He also performed alongside Rob Mills for Queensland Pop Orchestra’s That’s Show Business. Conor has had mentoring from West End’s Ruthie Henshall, and direction by Broadway’s Faith Prince in “The Sky’s The Limit Cabaret” (QPAC).
